Mount St. Helens, WA

Looking into the void from the new summit of Mount St. Helens. Spirit Lake and Mount Rainier (the tallest mountain in Washington at 14,410 feet) are in the background. The light brown at the far end of Spirit Lake is not the end of the lake, it is thousands of the trees that were killed by the May 18, 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens, all floating on the lake.
